Can't wait to see one but disappointed Toyota is dropping the purely ICE models...give us OPTIONS, Toyota!

I laugh at the phrase, "Purely Hybrid"....isn't that an oxymoron like "jumbo shrimp" or "Government Efficiency" or "Army Intelligence"... (no disrespect to you grunts, you know we zoomies love ya!!) ;-)

It won't happen with the current generation, as they didn't change the platform and it is not a hatchback with space for a PHEV battery in the trunk. By the next generation, which will debut as a 2031 model year, you might want to go with a BEV instead.

It's possible to have a Camry Prime. If they can fit a 13.6 kWh battery under the rear seat of a Prius and call it a Prime, why not? The current (8th generation) Camry is 2 inches wider, 11 inches longer and has an almost 3 inch longer wheelbase than the Prius. They even already have the SE and XSE trims (yeah I know they are just sticking bigger wheels on the new Camry and call that the SE and XSE trims). It may be just a matter of how much they want it to weigh. Might even be able to keep the AWD although I'd assume the current spare would be sacrificed.

Eh, that isn't a station wagon. It's in that uncanny valley of not-SUV, not-station-wagon. Hard pass.
