    I would be happy to see a straight electric Prius. It doesn’t have to be perfect but perfectible. The Gen-1 Prius was a good car once you mapped the performance specs. The subsequent generations were better as Toyota, annually applied lessons learned.

    Just Toyota has to let a strong character, project engineer who won’t follow legacy ICE design rules. That is why the Prius remains a high efficiency ranking.
