    One screw, sealed. Easy to do.
    They build things mostly to last the emission warranty. Most people sell the car before these types of parts
    go bad. So the 2nd or 3rd owner buys the replacement parts.
    They could easily manufacture them to make it easy to replace the battery, then silicone it shut to seal it.
    But is it cost effective for them? Almost everything is built to replace, not repair.
