TPMS question...$5 per new tire to reset? $20 to push a button?

    A Toyota service rep. told me when those things malfunction most people do not fix them. You can spend a small fortune on those worthless things. I will be among those who will not spend any money on mine if they malfunction.

    If they're not fixed, the idiot light would drive me nuts. You can get them on ebay fairly cheap.....if one is all you need.

    Unless the computer for them goes out and then you are in to the money. I had a 2007 Camry and the computer went out but fortunately it was covered under warranty.

    I run 4-5 mo every winter on snows without TPMS; it's this leetle orange light, off on the right side of the display. Less obnoxious than the passenger air bag status light, for comparison.
