I took the old one apart it was silicone in and replaced it the old one was 2.5v should be 3 with two spot weld leads on each side of the coin battery in unsolder old one replace with one I found on eBay for $2 my plan is now it to remove the air and c clamp the tire replace it and go back to Costco with a low tire and have them check for leaks and rest the sensor

Good work! There is a YouTube video taking one apart I think from a Corolla so same as Prius.

I don't know if everyone is following, but I think @jmack took his apart and de-soldered the special button batteries (with tabs for soldering). So if you try this you would need to purchase the special button batteries with the tabs welded on. It's considered a safety no-no to solder onto a button battery (could explode) unless you have the type with a tab on there for the purpose.
