I think there used to be one, no idea for sure. Sister's 2005 has 2 bad cells. She encountered the problem 2 weeks ago, a day before she left on a 3 week vacation trip and I've been put in charge of getting info. Neither of us is sure a 14 year old car with 175K is worth putting a lot of money into, she's already spent a fair bit getting the A/C fixed earlier this year.

Any pointers to someone that does rebuild them "near" Huntington Beach would be appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Bruce

green bean seems to be the best option ive seen, but if it were me, i'd through another two thousand into a new battery and see you at 300k.

I can find a rebuilt one from parts.toyota.com, but not a new one. Where do you see that please?

@JC91006 does indeed provide and install rebuilt Prius traction batteries as a service to members of the PriusChat community.
