    Good day-
The dealership has offered me a 2016 v (lowercase v for the Prius v wagon) Three for my leased 2013 v Three. Looking at the 2016, I don't see any significant upgrades over my 2013. Do you all think its worth it to jump to a 2016 yet? Thanks!

Thank you for your reply - what do you mean by "so technologically dated?"

the '16 lift back has all new innards, whereas the v is the same, no updates yet, and toyota has even mentioned the possibility of eliminating it from the line up.
many people feel the new rav4 hybrid is a better choice if you need more room than the lift back.

Depends on your current lease deal (monthly outlay) versus the new one and how much you like the v. If it's the same monthly for the 2016 and you like the v, go for it. If you are going to pay much more, stay where you are. I agree with Bisco that the new standard Prius has a new engine, inverter, lithium HV battery (except for the type 2), new suspension, etc all potentially improving things while increasing mpg. It even has a 12v battery under the hood! The Rav4 hybrid is hot at the dealers but commands a high price and is significantly lower in mpg than even your v. But it has room and towing capacity.

Thank you rjparker, Yes- payments are the same. It's like we are swapping Prius v wagons. The only complaint I would have is the entune system.
Does the 2016 radio/entune system work well with iPhone?

I would go down to the dealer and pair your phone on the 2016 and find out. It is a different head unit but the wireless connection problem (requiring USB cable) was actually an Apple Corp restriction that Android devices did not have. As far as other features, I would check them for myself before committing.

Are there any significant differences that you know of between these two model years?

Better crash protection is the most significant.

There's one rumor that there may not even be a v in 2017.

How many years will you be bound up in the new leasing contract?

In other words, What mikefocke says below me.

I wouldn't. No great advantages. Locks you into more years than you currently are locked into in exchange for them moving a vehicle that is 4 years old in design and not highly desired looking at the sales figures.

Maintaining your flexibility to move to a significantly improved vehicle or a different type vehicle as your circumstances change is valuable.
