Transaxle Fluid change

    Ok I'm abut due for my 40k service, change the transaxle fluid now, or at 60k or ever?

    Now, then in about 60k miles and every 90k thereafter. Cheap insurance if you are going to keep your car for a long time

    Only plan on keeping it for about 100k.

    Change it at least once, as soon as possible. A little different than an oil change, but about the same complexity and parts cost. My 2 cents: the optimum time would be around the one year mark, and from thereon very infrequently would do.

    Just changed both transaxle fluids in the wife’s RX450h last weekend at the 7k mark and 9 months of ownership:

    What did you do to your Lexus today?

    So I’d say worth doing(y).
