I had the dealer change my transmission fluid for $100. Driving feels a ton smoother. I didn't expect there to be such a noticeable change. If anyone is on the fence for doing the transmission fluid change I highly recommend it (decline all the other stuff they try to sell you though!!)

FYI: 2006 with 99K miles, transmission fluid never changed.

I have only driven it back home so not too many miles, but will report after the weekend, planning a 90 miles trip.

    Is a MPG improvement expected?

Yeah sooner than later is best, for a transaxle fluid change: even at the one year mark. Then stretch it. But never too late. (y)

I have a 2006, but I just noticed my profile says 2008. I may have signed up for an account when I was going to purchase a 2008, but that purchase fell through and now I have 2006 with 99K Miles!

It doesn't appear to give me that option under profile.

Also I have no clue what package # :)

Its the top of the line 2006 has leather, nav, jbl audio.

no noticeable change in MPG for my driving habits, however, I still feel the driving is much smoother.

I change my transmission fluid about every 100K miles, which equates to approximately every 3.5 years in my case. It is a pretty easy DIY task, similar to an oil change.

In my case, there is no discernible difference. The car has always been pretty smooth.

It was noticeable to me, although not sure if this is psychological. I'd like to say i'm above that.
