Transmission jolt

    Technically there is a clutch, it is just used differently in the Prius (as a dampener) ICE "ON" shock is way improved in the third gen over the previous generations but there's only so much that can be done.. There are certain conditions where it will be felt more..

    To the original poster.. There's no problem with the car, and this is not causing any wear or damage that will affect it's longevity :D

    Since 15k miles I can feel a ressonance-type vibration (front flutuation?) when accelerating (ICE on) from about 15mph to 25mph on exiting corners. Now with 28k miles, sometimes even straight.
    My car has 17" inch wheels (more stiff due to 45 tyre profile), some amy come from that?

    I'm looking for other posters that have felt the same...
