Transmission oil change: 3 qts of ATF WS and $84...

    FWIW: third gen Repair manual spec's the level as 0 to 10 mm below fill hole lip.

    Yeah kind of annoying that they couldn't have just put the correct amount on the invoice in the first place.

    Actually this reminds me of another poster here not too long ago that got charged for 5 quarts of ATF on his invoice. When he questioned it they insisted that it took more than four so they had to break out an extra quart. That despite the fact that everyone here that's done it themselves has managed fine with four quarts (actually they usually have a tiny bit left over).

    Maybe it was at the same dealer and you got his "other" quart. :D

    It does sound like you have a good dealership to take the time to put the car on the lift and have you verify the level. Even though they did make the initial mistake on the invoice, it does sound like they made it right. And the price was reasonable, charged for 3 qts rather than 4 :)

    That is better than some other dealers reported on here.
