Interestingly, it doesn't really feel much different. It wasn't the night and day difference like in my GenII. That's ok. I wasn't really looking for performance. I wanted the look and comfort.

Now the car looks like it should have from the factory. Clean and OE-like. :)

Unfortunately, it is supposed to rain this week so I won't be able to clean it up and get real pictures until next week. :( People are going to think I took the pictures in the dark!

Only 2 1/2 hours for the full install?? I'm impressed! I've done suspension on my Chevelle multiple times, lowered my Audi and then put it back to stock and I think I would seriously have to work very hard to swap out springs that quick! The lowered pic looks great btw!

Pretty close. We ran into a bit of a snag when 2 of the 10mm bolts that hold the cowl on snapped leaving the bolt threaded in the body so we had to remove the cowl again and use needle nose pliers to reverse the broken bolts out far enough to grab it by hand. That killed about 15min or so.

Mike brought so many tools it was not even funny! He had a 20v impact gun for Christ sake! He has done this install a few times and knew the sequence quite well so I just tried to mimic what he did on the opposite side or i would take things apart while he torqued other stuff down. He did the vast majority of the work though. I just did my best to document our progress and get in his way.

We even had time to take a test drive then bleed his brakes three times with the Techstream and he went for anther test drive and packed everything by 4pm. :)

It is pretty soft as far as lowering springs go but I notice it is more bouncy than I first thought. I drove to Davis tonight and I was a little disappointed but it still drove well so I'm not unhappy enough to want to change anything. I bet that within a week or so I'll be used to it and won't even notice the bumps anymore. Due to the lower temps my tires are at 35/34 right now.

I guess is should say it is soft like stock but bouncier. Hitting a hard dip on the highway was enough to elicit a comment from my girlfriend. It's not that bad overall. I wouldn't want to drive this with those PureContact tires and high tire pressure though!

Most of the bounce will go away once you have the vehicle aligned, seriously.

My car has kinda fast rebound. Mike mentioned alignment will fix that. Explain how the alignment can slow down the rebound dampening. Now I am wondering if the port install people aligned my car after installing my suspension.

I've found that if there's a ton of toe-out, the front end feels exceptionally bouncy over bumps and potholes. Just personal observation though.
