Any recommendations on how to clean out that nasty tree and debris stuff that goes into the cowling and wiper ends? I'm asking because I have a 2014 where some of the debris has made it down into the quarter panels back near the door and as a result, you get rot!

If you flush the back side of the quarter panels, (from above near the cowling) will it actually push the debris out, or only cause more issues?

I can't imagine getting even a small vac tube down there.

I haven't taken any panels off of a new Prius but I know there's even sound dampers in there.

    Thoughts?

    Thanks

    Bump.
    Are we talking about a G3 or a G5?
When I drove G3s I used a garden hose with some success.
You will want to avoid a pressure washer for obvious reasons.

I do not live in the frozen, uninhabitable regions of the continent above I-20 and we use salt to season FOOD so debris behind quarter panels causing moisture retention is less of a concern for vehicle longevity......besides, G3's are aging out rapidly from from head gasket issues, so they really do not have much time left to rust...... ;)
