Hey everyone been troubleshooting my 06 Toyota Prius for a while now I didn't have techstream and now I do.
Just ran tech stream for the first time on my Prius and found 4 codes..

    Hybrid control P0AA6
    ABS/VSC/Trac C1259 and C1310

I have change modules in my HV pack before with really good results. I noticed on my maintenance I had corrosion on a bunch of my buss bars.. cleaned it as best I could.. I will buy new bus bars if I have to do it again.. it's been about a year since I did the change.

Any help would be much appreciated

Sounds like a HV isolation leak in the battery tray or associated connections.

If you want to help narrow down the fault you will need to know the INF code (aka subcode or secondary code) for DTC P0AA6, and Techstream can offer that three digit code.

Here is the workup for DTC P0AA6 (and or DTC P3009) : https://share.qclt.com/%E4%B8%B0%E7%94%B0%E6%99%AE%E7%91%9E%E6%96%AF%E5%8E%9F%E5%8E%82%E8%8B%B1%E6%96%87%E6%89%8B%E5%86%8Cpdf%E6%A0%BC%E5%BC%8F/Prius%20Service%20Manuals%202004/%E4%BF%AE%E7%90%86%E6%89%8B%E5%86%8C/04pruisr/05/21bpm/3009526.pdf

Once you know the INF code, this image may give you a better idea of the problem area and how to proceed :

Thanks, I have the subcode 612. I found one of my cells had a bunch of fluid leaking out of it.. changed it out with a cell that I had sitting for awhile. The subcode went away and now it's just 526.. so I'm hoping that if I just leave that cell in there and drive for a week the cell will balance with the others. As it stands right now I still am get the triangle on start up not being able to put into gear. I'm able to put in gear if I clear codes and and then turn off restart... Probably gonna have to look into getting more cells that are in better quality and also buy all new bus bars.. they are not amazing looking.. I sanded all the corrosion off of them.. hope I didn't miss something in the battery area that was bad.

Came back looks like I'm still leaking somewhere else. I saw one of me cells had a weird coffee looking substance that looked like it dripped down from one of the cells.. almost seemed like it was sticky. I don't remember seeing it before when I have changed cells before. Thanks for the troubleshooting steps. I will try them all and see if I can narrow this down.

So I found the problem. Thanks for the help SFO. I found a cell mount that was having a chat with the negative terminal of the cell and they were exchanging voltage. Weird problem. You ever see this? None the less it had me scratching my head for a couple hours until I found it. Thanks again.. car is back on the road... 200K here we come.
