    Ive always heard the Tom Petty song:

    The Waiting is the Hardest Part;).

    That song might be fitting for you @Mendel Leisk given all the early maintenance the garage queen has seen(y).

    Guess I will chime in. My prius is just about 130K miles. Bought a few Toyota OEM filter cartridges on line. To remove the filter canister, use a standard 3/8 rachet on cap and gently tap the rachet handle with rubber mallet to break loose. (y) Works every time.:cool:

    I tap with my hand and it does the job too;).

    But a percussive Force works(y).
