Trouble Light Indication when changing lanes or turning quickly

    Trouble light indicates intermittently and Beeps when changing lanes or turning quickly. HELP!!

    Trouble light? Do you mean Enhanced Vehicle Slip Control (VSC)? I've noticed that the VSC light will flicker on occasionally, for instance hard cornering, acceleration on snow or ice, or when it's raining, and sometimes on metal covers or painted-lines on the road! I've noticed it also when the car has been unweighted (like cresting a rise in the road or going over a hump-backed bridge where the wheels might slip just a bit!) - Just need to slow down a bit! ;)

    Yes indeed I had very little oil left Ca. Itr was inspected for a leak and my mechanic says it has 138,000 mile and mostly likely its burning oil, Not loosing it ? Any Advise why its almost empty of oil and i receive sporadic warnings from the Alert System? Is it normal for a Prius to burn oil after 130,000 miles of usage?

    Not sure what you mean by sporadic alerts. This has happened before?

    Bad news is if it ate oil before it will really start to eat oil now. Running a Prius engine so low on oil it throws a code usually results in some damage. You need to check the oil at least once a week. Preferably in the morning before you start the car. All the oil will have drained back by then. Alot of oil is stored in the VVT system and it takes a while for it all to drain back into the oil pan to give you an accurate reading on the dipstick.

    how many miles since your last oil change? it's always possible they didn't adequately fill it.
