TRS Morimoto XB LED bulb issue

    Has anyone tried these for their parking lights?' Mine start off yellow and turn white after a few minutes. TRS says this shouldn't be happening which I agree with. They are LED bulbs, not HID.

    Here's a pic of the yellow parking lights on this pic. Why would LED's omit a yellow color like this?

    Any chance of taking photo from front with just parking lights on, I installed yellow bulbs, they are not sunnish yellow, but they do look good.

    It looks too yellow. I have never seen an LED light like this. Definitely going to get returned. I'm probably going to go with this one. I know someone who has ithis Philips LED and it looks great. I figure since I bought a TRS HD kit this LED would look good, but as you can see....far from it.

    FYI, those rectangular lights above the cutoff in the picture posted against the garage door isn't from the parking lights. They're from the squirrel finder cutouts in the cutoff shields, which are inside the lowbeam projectors.

    It seems they are 3500k-4000K [off-white] color, at-least they appear so in the photo.
    My earlier 4300K bulbs looked same in color when paired with 55W ballast, I switched to 5000k, they look same as your's now.

    Looks like manufacturing defect or they sent you wrong the one [they did it first time for my order, I got 3000k HID bulbs, it took one week of argument to prove it :) 3000k with 55W was super yellow amplified].H ope yours is easy to exchange it.
    philips, sylvania [osram] or PIAA [slightly expensive]: all of these are reliable and would last atleast few years.
    I did bite the bullet and went with PIAA plasma ion yellow, actually doesn't look cheesy, kind of like classy yellow.

    The manual says our lowbeams are H11 A 55W. TRS recommend that I get H11 B 35W 5500K with a Canbus relay. Why is that?

    I ended up ordering these for the parking lights. Heard great things about them. Otherwise I'm just afraid the lamp housing will fog up over time so I may just leave it with the OEM parking light.

    At that time when i got, they had plain H11 and XB H 11 bulbs [double checked my order now], now I see that they H11 A and H11 B both in XB series, which is bit confusing to me,. my advice would be ask them again for Prius<model year>, if they say it incorrect, then exchange should be easy.

    Philips bulbs look good, Let me know the brightness of them, 15$ for a pair seems good deal.
    I have been looking at sylvani leds for license plates [10$ each buld :( ], ebay leds seems to be showing their age now.

    I just love the looks of PIAA,. maybe I will try them next.
