TV in Prius

    I have a ii Gen Prius (2007) -S grade, Can't tune for TV channel available in Sri Lanka, Is it possible? What is to be done?

    Well it's illegal here in the US to watch TV and drive. More importantly...
    Do you have some special radio in your car to actually receive television.
    It would also need to receive PAL format broadcasts, that is the standard of Sri Lanka TV!
    The US was NTSC format, now it's ATSC format.

    The Prius doesn't have a built in TV, that's why you can't tune it in. :)

    Generally in Sri Lanka, we import brand new / used (<3Y) cars from Japan which produced for Japanese market (not for US/Europe market) and it consist different options than your cars. even language also in Japanese only.
    This is a genuine car with original CD/Radio/HDD/mini disc/TV/Navy made by the Toyota- Japan and these features are available in all the Prius in Sri Lanka as a basic option.

    iam also in Sri Lanka, and i have an 2010 Prius.
    in my prius also have a TV Buttion, but it dosent the TV Tunner, and t take it to the Advancecaraudio and they told me u have to finxed a TV Tunner and it cost about 25.000 Rs.
    if u want TV in your car buy an 8 inch LCD TV and a TV Booster theses two cost about 12 - 15 thousand.

    Japan is using NTSC and Sri Lanka use PAL-B. Therefore Sri Lankan TV channels will not appear on your CAR TV receiver. You might be able to get some radio stations via TV tuner though.
