    Idaho, eh?

Well, it is a cold day in hell when we get 37 here, but it does happen with me scurrying around covering the orchids.

Egret32, you also in the nature coast? Where abouts? I live in the nature coast too.

PM me if you don't want to post.

I remember quite a few days that were literally freezing down here.

Sorry, but it's tough for me to empathize, folks. I mean, the low for today is, what, going to get all the way down to 68 degrees? :)

We had a bunch of days here where the high was 68............in August......

While we're on this subject of the soft-slow-easy opening little compartment doors, can any one explain just how they work? Is there actually a small hydraulic piston involved or what?
Inquiring minds want to know 8) ow.

    toilets

This is just so I can make a post, I'm so lonely :)

The basement toilet in our 1912 home has "climax" written on it at the front of the bowl and it was made by, wait for it, T.L. Peck of Vancouver, BC.

Gives me a giggle every time I see it.

ANOTHER cool feature...when the car is in park or neutral and you want to shift in to forward or reverse those are your only two choices...you don't get the cance to shift into B unless you are already in a "go" gear. Less choices are less confusing for the uninitiated!!!

We do get the odd freeze....I live in Crystal River (more nature than Tampa, right in the manatee preserve). Got my Prius from Stadium Toyota in Tampa. I've called twice about the new DVD and they don't seem to know anything about it. Would appreciate hearing from you if you get yours and when.

Nifty things I WISH mine had:

    1. Electric driver's seat
    2. Auto dimming headlights
    3. Decent reroute on the NAV
    4. A way to remember MY route on the NAV

I love talking to it and changing the temperature instantly.

Actually, I am in Spring Hill, which some say is, some say isn't Tampa Bay. I say close enought, but admittedly on the fringe.

I find re-route pretty good, myself. Sometimes it takes roads I would not have considered, but just by looking at a map and not knowing the area, I might have chosen the same route.

I belive you can save routes, especially the quickroute buttons, the first one designed to be your own home. Even if you don't actually need to go home, it can help get you back to more familiar territory (like when you are in a subdivision maze).

I understand it would have been difficult/more expensive to have true DRL with HID, but full auto headlights would have been nice. Maybe use the so-called fog lamps for the DRL?
