How are people tying down there spare tire in the prime? Any pictures would be appreciated . Trying to figure that out. It doesn’t look like it has any hooks to tie the tire to . Thanks.

What a perfect storm though: eliminate the spare AND the D-rings.

I’m sure Toyota would appreciate the feedback! Either today or they might be hiring in Canada :)

I have a spare in my trunk and it keeps sliding around ... I want to read what folks have done.

Just throw your arm across it as you crash, lol. Seriously, I think a front ender would be the worst: you stop abruptly, but the spare keeps going. Hopefully slam into seatback and all good.

Mine is behind the front seat on the floor. I have yet to tie it down, but I'd bet it wouldn't be difficult to find something to hook to.

Here is what I did and it seems it is working as intended. Net or mesh with the spare inside the pocket and tied to the back of backseats where anchors provided for carseats. Two ends of net/mesh also tied to the sturdy plastic hangers for the sunshade. I am a happy camper as no shifting or rattling during harsh turns or stopping/acceleration.
