With the extension cord, I had to park in the spot, walk inside, toss the cord out, walk outside and plugin the PIP and then walk back into the office.

Now I just park, plugin the PIP and walk into the office. Saves a trip both ways.

Inside I have the new outlet plugged into the extension cord that I was using, that is plugged into a Kill A Watt.
If I want, I can leave the Kill A Watt end of the cord unplugged at night and then plug it in each morning.

The original window used a wooden stick to "lock" it closed.
With the 6" plexiglass, I cut a stick that 6" shorter.
If the crook knocks out the plexiglass, he could also knock out the single pane window.

    Maybe I'll buy a Motion-Sensing Security Camera.
