That sure caught my eyes. With the announcement of Chevy Cruze Eco, it was said to have ultra-low rolling resistance 17-inch Goodyear tires. Chevy Volt is supposed to use the same tire as well.

Currently, Goodyear does not have 17 inch low profile tires that are low rolling resistance. Their fuel max tires don't go to 17 inches.

This may be a great option for Gen3 Prius V owners to upgrade. I have also been looking for this option for 3 years to replace tires on my Kyowa.

USB, although it seems as hard to find as a list of National Secrets, there are a couple lists on the web that show which tires have ultra low rolling resistance. So if the Goodyears get a bad rap in other catagories (wear, noise, ride, etc) it'll mean you can consider other alternatives. I remember our original Integrities were fairly low on the resistance charts, but they wore out faster than any other I've ever used.

What's the model or name of the tire?

Integrity was their last gen LRR tire. Assurance Fuel Max is their current gen. It has longer tread warranty (65k miles) more than Michelin Energy Saver A/S. Fuel Max is cheaper too which is why I am looking forward for GoodYear 17" LRR tire.

I checked out the pics of Volt but I could not read out the tire name. Anyone found a higher resolution pic?
