Under Hood Blow-Back? I don't think it amounts to anything.

During my annual end of October treatment of all the "gaskets" along the doors, hatch and under the hood -- for the first time noticed these marks.

I'm pretty sure they don't mean anything, just wondering how they got there and if all Prius vehicles show the same....?

Was the car oil treated, the underbody and innerdoors?

Not really sure what you mean, but nothing unusual for the car other than the usual oil and filter changes. Just seems strange these marks would be around the punch holes -- except for the center hole, as seen in the one photo. There are no rubber "bumpers" that line up with any of the holes.

You would definitely know, you spray used motor oil with pressure and it makes a mess, and that is what it looks like afterward, living in NH, it's nessessary, as it looks to be on one side, running over oil in the road at speed would coat the inner fender, just guessing.

I’ve seen similar out of the door vents on our 2010. I wouldn’t be concerned.
