Unknown symbols on headlight stalk? *moved due to off topic/image issues - repost when images work*

    The headlight stalk on our 2010 Touring (has the fog lights) looks like this:

    (Ok, well you'll just have to imagine it for present: Priuchat continues to be half-broken, impossible to post pictures. @Danny: Please have a look.)

    The dial can be turned only to the first position, which turns the fog lights on. There's two more symbols (circled in red), not sure what they represent. You can't turn the dial to them, and there doesn't seem to be any explanation in the Owner's Manual.

    Yeah I've talked to one mod just now; they're aware of issue. Suggestion to use imjur? Not sure if I've spelled that right.

    I'd prefer to upload directly to priuschat tho, very simple and direct.

    Yes, they look like that. Strange, the stalk (at least on mine, with the fogs) can be "off", or rotated to "fogs", but not to those next two symbols. Maybe they're a half-done design thought, that they didn't bother to follow through on.

    Umm, no they've always been there lol. I like Toyota's layout. They know how to provide all the functions in a compact layout.

    Aren't they just Highbeam, and two arrows indicating that you turn highbeams on/off by moving stalk forward and back?

    Off, foglights, turn signals, and highbeam on/off with push forward for highbeam on.

    @Mendel Leisk , notice that the "push away for high beam" symbols are on a different plane than the foglights on/off symbols. It's more subtle than the cruise control stalk since the headlight stalk is rounder.
