Dude, I'm going to make a million dollars. Here's my plan:

I am going to start printing little books that tell people how to operate all of the things they own, especially the complicated things. Think of the market! Every different kind of car, for example, would need one of these 'Zacher' books! Shucks, I'll even make 'em conveniently sized to fit inside the car, so a person can have theirs on hand all the time! This is going to be great! I'm rich! Rich, I tell ya!

UNLESS SOMEBODY IS ALREADY DOING THIS.....!

The Idiot's Guide to practically everything.

I thought of doing the Prius half an hour ago, and can prove it, right Galaxie?) Of course, neither you or I actually knows HOW to do most everything that's not in the manual.

NOTE: Prius owners are far from idiots - another publisher will be required.

Hmmm, I wasn't serious, and I WAS hinting at something that came with everybody's cars!

And this IS well covered in the manual!

    The less subtle version:

    RTFM!

It reminds me of what Dorthy Parker said when asked to use horticulture in a sentence. And I am NOT referring to you, Galaxee!

Put the groceries in the front seat - or behind the rear seat where they really belong - no?

Google horticulture and "Dorthy Parker" and you'll know immediately.

Don't want to hijack this thread but this is available on a lot of minivans now. It is available on Sienna XLE and up, Odyssey Touring, and others. I love this feature. Gotta love the power sliding doors too. Three clicks of the remote and you got three doors open.

I wish I could drink like a lady,
I can take one or two at the most.
Three and I'm under the table,
Four and I'm under the host.

You can't hijack this thread, MT77, since we've obviously already done it. I'm glad power sliding doors are NOT available on the Prius.

Bummer: I always put my more fragile or heat-sensitive groceries on the seat to help insulate & protect them, and to keep them from rolling around. Don't tell me to take a bin for the rear - I never remember even a cooler for the frozen stuff.

Need to disable that R belt beeper ( a switch would be perfect); and the L beeps way too long - although a short reminder is good for me -I got a ticket on one of the rare occasions when I forgt my belt (wouldn't you know)!

I like to drive slowly down my 7/10 mi driveway wo SB looking for wildlife and enjoying the beeper! <_<

I think I read a method for disabling the beepers, but don't know if you can do it selectively, or control the duration.

    Galaxeeeeeeee!!??

Maybe I'm a little late to the party, but.....here is my 2 cents.

I have mine set to unlock all doors when I touch the black strip on the drivers or passangers handle. If I could use telepathy to OPEN the doors I would. I don't understand what you want. All it takes is 1 finger to unlock the doors by touching the back of the handle. If you can't touch a handle because your hands are full how can you open the back door even if it did have the sensor to unlock the door? How about a cart? Put your groceries in a cart. Put the keyfob in your hand before you pick up the groceries. I'm sorry you might have kids. It is not the worlds fault that you made that choice in life. The world should not have to cater every need a parent might have because "I've got kids".

I get groceries all the time. I just quicky touch the handle it unlocks. I open the back door and put them in. I never thought it was that big of a deal.
