I've just determined that the formatting buttons above the text box do not function with ScriptNo enabled. I can still type in the codes by hand for bold, italic, etc. Creating a link is more bother than I like. I will probably whitelist Prius Chat.

But I've noticed that when I select Incognito Browsing, both ScriptNo and ABP are disabled!

This is generally my approach as well. For a few months I had to use Chrome on a couple of banking sites, as the version of FF on my distro hadn't caught up with recent changes. It's updated now, so I'm pretty much 100% FF on my computers.

For now, I'm happy with Chrome. We'll see how it goes with ScriptNo.

I repeat my question: What's happening next week?

I believe he's speaking metaphorically about rapid and relentless change in software, that nothing seems to remain constant for more than a few days, not about a particular change scheduled for next week. The only thing that HAS settled down and remained consistent is that nothing is, nor lasts very long. Next week WILL be different, and the week after that, and the week after that, and the day after that, and the hour after that ...

At some point we'll be engaged full time in doing upgrades, with no time left to actually run applications. Then we'll wise up and go outside and rediscover life without the big screen, but it'll be a hell of an adjustment. :p

That's it exactly. Everything changes constantly in the computer world. We work and work and work to get a stable system put together, and then the new releases come out. Not only do standards change, but there are multiple standards in play. It can be frustrating.

If I wanted to see what outside was like, I'd look at a website about it.

Windows was just about there when I finally gave Bill the boot and bought my Mac.
