I just installed a pair of extra reverse lights and noticed there are a few (3) unused plugs behind the auxiliary dash button panel. I have seen them before, but would like to know what they are if anyone knows. I have searched the forum, but it is hard to find a good answer for two of them.

I think the wide one is a newer version of the rear mirror control unit plug, but it only has 3 wires connected to it. The other two I don't know.

We have a rather basic version Prius with not much extra from 2010.

    Anyone? :)
Sorry if this has been asked a 100 times before and for the low res pictures.

If nobody happens to jump in who just knows the answer, it'll be really easy for you to look up in your wiring diagram on techinfo.toyota.com; you can find the connector locations in the early sections that show harness routing, and then you can confirm by the wire colors.

A few years have passed and I don't see the pictures now, but the user manual may help. The switches there - based on my manual for Prius Gen 3 from 2015:
    • Side mirror remote control (L132, 5 + 11 pin white connector)
    • Headlight level control - when manual (L112, 1 x 4 pin black connector)
    • Headlight washing - for LED headlight (L58 or L154, 1 x 4 pin grey connector)
    • Solar Ventillator- if you have solar roof (L66, 2 x 5 pin white connector)

Tge TPMS is at might right knee, the fog light is on my light switch - was it separate switch on older model? - the rest I don’t have connector for.
