The thin metal strip that sits across the cables from the HV battery.

I found several cautions regarding not deforming it. However, the marks from the bolts indicate it has been swapped at some point.

I have a NewPriusBattery, and the Prius threw a voltage isolation fault, p0612. I noticed some discoloration and before I got crazy(er) and tear the entire battery down I thought it would be good to know which way is up?

the part has two curves, each curve has two very small tabs that I believe are supposed to go down
However. When I pulled it off, it was the other way. When I read the caution about it being a possible source of that fault, I went to the web, and eventually here. I have searched but cannot find an schematic, diagram, or even an image of the part much less its orientation

Any help would be very much appreciated

    p0612?
This code has nothing to do with the high-voltage battery.
What did you use to read the error codes?
What warning lights are on your dashboard? Do you have a photo?

Do you know which way the thin metal plate goes?
    That is my actual question

    Red Triangle P0AA6
got it home, shop dropped by and read the codes
Shop said it was a HV insulation fault; 526 and 612 [edit not 610], to me they both read like the same thing: HV insulation breaking down

I saw it defined as HV isolation fault elsewhere

The plate on the outgoing high-voltage orange wires?
It is important not to touch the metal crimp terminals with this plate. If you touch it, there will be a large energy explosion in this place when you turn it on.
