URGENT:Please make it clear about Tactrix OpenPort2.0

    URGENT:Guys Please make it clear about Tactrix OpenPort2.0

    Hi all,

    I have read too much threads about Tactrix OpenPort2.0 but found nothing with specific answer regarding to Gen II prius, so please guys who tried the cable answer us

    1. Is it fully compatible with TechStream 5.xxxx in reading and setting parameters????
    2. if not what is the missing features???
    3. what is the difference between it and Mongoose other than PRICE?!?!
    4. can it add new keys(unused) to prius via TechStream ?

    please guys i need your answers ASAP.

    i already did and they didn't answer, they mention in the website it support techstream but without details( maybe only reading data), I live far away and will pay much $$$ for customs that y am asking b4 i place the order.

    Yes –our hardware does support Toyota TechStream software, assuming that the model you are working with is CanBus supported. As we do not write reflashing software for Toyota model vehicles, and do not work with them directly, we are not able to provide details, other than the information listed on our website.

    no clear answer.

    I think it's a high probability that the Tactrix works with the Toyota CanBus. The real question is whether it works with the 9.6 Kb data rate KWP bus where many of the Gen2 Prius ECUs are connected. Keyfobs, option setup, and TPMS are all KWP on Gen2. Some of the ECUs that are KWP on Gen2 have moved to CAN on the Gen3, but TPMS is still on KWP even on the Gen3.
