    Don't forget, this zombie thread is over a ½ decade old & modernly, most USB connections will also allow you to mirror your phone - so that (for example) you can run Google Maps right through your MFD. That way you can get live traffic & auto reroutes instead of having to pay for a subscription that might do these kinds of features.
