Can I use the snow tires from my old gen 2 prius (185/65/r15) , on my 2011 prius (spec is 195/65/r15)?

Yes you can. The overall dynameter size difference is small so the speedo error will be small. For what's it worth, a few years back, I bought used snow tires for my son's former 2006 Prius. They were both 185 and 195 size tires. I still have the tires and could use them on my 2013.

They will probably work, but I'd check the "load rating" to make sure it is close to the 195/65/r15 rating on the summer tires. Size isn't everything. ;)
