I was going to say Homer Simpson, but now I seem to recall an episode where he did spray his armpits with something.

That was only because he was trying to smell nice for Mindy. :)

(God, I can't believe I remembered that scene so quickly. Yes, uber-Simpsons geek here).

Which car brand recently was accused of using 10 cadavers in their crash testing? The car brand and parent company have both denied the story, stating "(we) provide funds to certain bio-mechanical research projects, often through universities, the results of which they use to make better crash test dummies."

    Was it Saab/General Motors?
(I'm pretty sure about the GM part, just a little less
certain about which of their subsidiary brands it was)

Ding, ding, ding, we have a winner!

Vägverket, the Swedish Road Administration reported that GM/Saab were involved in using 10 human cadavers in crash testing. Both GM/Saab deny the allegations.

Ok here's an automotive trivia question
(sorry moxiequz, I'll think of a NZ trivia question for another go)

What is the origin of the hood ornament and what important driving-related function did many of them have?

Radiator cap is part of the answer.
They were more than just decoration though.
What was its driving-related function (besides keeping the water contained)?

Umm...helping identify the type of car?

edit: Did the originals have a thermostat or temperature gauge in them?

Bingo. Many radiator caps had elaborate thermometers built into them so the driver could see the engine temperature while driving. The "motometer" became one of the first automotive accessories that you could purchase if the manufacturer hadn't thoughtfully included one in the design. Some of them were quite handsome (like the ones pictured) even the ones Ford used (far right) were quite ornate.

    Your turn Hyo

It was something like "It goes on forever...my God, it's full of stars!" I think there's more to it than that, though.

And I thought a few words of dialogue from a 1968 science fiction movie might be too obscure. I'm impressed, Sam. Your turn! :)

Santa's little helper? I remember the episode where Homer gets him from the racetrack after he looses the race.

Yep! That's my favorite episode, specifically when Kent Bruckman, the news anchorman, wins the lottery. "Hey...those are MY numbers! I WON!! Let's get a shot of me! Well, back to the news...Fire in Chicago...many people killled...ummm...goodbye!" :bolt:

    Well, it's your question, Wchardin...

These are some quotes from a fictional character on a tv show... can you guess name of the show?

"I got something to say. I got something to saaaaaaay!!!"

"I'm gonna work at the artificial flower plant plant."

"A lot went down in school today. God, I'm really in a k-hole."

I can post more quotes if need be.
