By the way, one oddity I've noticed about the car, and this may be a FAQ but I didn't see it in there, is that sometimes it runs the ICE without the indicators on the on the MID/MFD "power flow" diagram showing that the ICE is on. For a long time I questioned my own sanity on this because sometimes it's hard to tell when the ICE is running or not, but I've definitely brought the car to a complete stop with the diagram showing no ICE running, and felt/heard the engine. Are the circumstances under which the ICE runs with no on-screen indication known?

 

i'm not sure, but if you're in ev mode, the outline of the car with 'EV' inside it changes when the ice is on, to the outline with no 'EV' when the ice is on.

 

yes, generally when the warmup cycle hasn't completed, the engine will be running but not feeding the battery. no idea why.
