Vacuum pump running constantly and rattling?

Hey, this thread didn't have the exact answer I needed. Delete it and ban anyone who has posted in it!

Seriously, I understand the frustration but this is an enthusiast forum. If you are in dire need of a timely answer then it might mean paying a mechanic for a diagnostic evaluation. Free, timely, and accurate advice on a forum is a wonderful gift when it happens, but should not be an absolute expectation.

I find PC to have a higher percentage of in-depth, helpful advice. Albeit on this forum it largely seems to fall into:

1. Check the 12V battery
2. It's your brake actuator failing that is making that noise
3. Just keep checking and adding oil
4. A multitude of whack-a-mole or out-in-out failure type HV battery threads.

I'm sure the longtimers could hone this list further but I have only been here 2 months
