I'm a simpleton, so I chose LESS GAS. Not very exciting but kind of a finger in the eye to some of the other car/suv drivers out there.

If anyone is interested in me producing custom PriusChat license plate brackets to go with your vanity plates, please let me know. I can (along with Paulisme) make a design special for you and allow you to order it through the PriusChat Store.

My tag is 56 MPG. My current mileage however is up to 58 MPG. Methinks my life time will be 54 MPG someday soon. I just love playing the mileage game. One OT thought, I only get this high MPG because I drive too much. A greener soul would commute much less and get much lower MPG or wouldn't drive a car at all. Oh well, good enough for now.

Dude, I'm lame - I have no idea what the first one means. Speaking of funny license plates, and this is off the Prius topic (I saw this on a VW Passat) - I saw this license plate. NE1BUTW. (Spell everything out except the "BUT"). This attorney here who's retiring from the firm and moving out to Santa Fe is taking that one when he retires!

I just sent for mine even though I have no idea when my Prius is going to arrive. My wife thought of this one.

I should be getting my new plates any day now. It will say:

    PRE S NV

In California, you have several designs to choose from. The one I chose benefits Coastal Conservation. It will have a background that shows a whale tail.

In April our Honda Civic was totaled, we decided to replace it with a Prius. That’s when we found out about wait lists and the Prius demand quagmire. I thought about getting personalized until my wife started cringing about the difference between a pkg7 and pkg9, so we will be getting what ever plates the California DMV sends us and the first available Prius from one of the three lists we are on. Until then we are renting a car, I am sure the Prius will be worth the wait.

    Plates I was pondering were:

    ♥RJOULE
    R JOULE
    MYJOULE

The joule is the standard unit of energy in electronics and general scientific applications. One joule is defined as the amount of energy exerted when a force of one Newton is applied over a displacement of one meter. One joule is the equivalent of one watt of power radiated or dissipated for one second.

I was also playing around with other electrical units and terminology like Coulomb, Henry, Tesla, Gauss, Ampere, Mho, Weber, inductor, inductance, conductor, and conductance.
