    I think the silent E is wasteful. It saves $$ to end in a numeral, though.

    It will arrive by mid-November.

    I was thinking of getting a vanity plate until I was told that they can't fit "WHY DON'T YOU STOP RIDING MY nice person FOR A CHANGE" on a plate. I wonder how I would abbreviate that.

    One of the coolest plates I ever saw was during a road trip with some friends. A bright yellow Ferrari Testarossa pulled up next to us on the interstate, hung there for a second and then punched it. As it rapidly disappeared we saw the plate RUNVS2. Took us about three miles to figure it out.
    (Hint: read the letters)

    My favorite bumper sticker was white text on a black background placed on a black car. Made it look like the lettering was on the car. It read "Why Be Normal?" and was upside down.

    I just got my Prius over the weekend, and I'm kinda chickening out on my original intended vanity plate

    UWSTGAS

    I work at a drag strip where the "Average" cars use $8/gal race gas, and the pro cars will burn $1,200 worth of gas to go 1/4 mile.

    It wouldn't be good for me as a manager here to be discouraging pepople from [strike:c55bd3d740]wasting[/strike:c55bd3d740] spending their money with us on gasoline.

    My 2003 Prius is 'PREE US 1' and my wife's 2004 is, can you guess, PREE US 2 . I got tired of peeple calling it PRY US I'm trying to educate the unwashed masses! :lol:

    I've yet to come up with one I like that's not been taken.

    On the other hand I do like my custom plate frame:
    "Don't Worry
    Breathe Happy"

    which is replacing my old one:
    "Shoot First
    Ask Questions Later"

    which references my occupation, photojournalist, not my L.A. driving philosophy.

    This is just the third day on temporary tags and, in Fairfax VA, wife who purchased Silver #2 wants the Vanity plate she already has. We plan to get rid of the original car in less than 30 days (1992 VW Golf 4-door 5-speed with odometer past 141,000 miles). Have you already done vanity plate on 2005 Prius in the state of Virginia, anyone?
