    For those of you who are business geeks and/or techie geeks, the March 30th S&P Global market newsletter has a very good short article "Needing speed and volume, electric vehicle charging reaches for the next level" which discusses the state of the technology and the industry:

    It references a equally interesting and more detailed McKinsey & Company "sustainability and resource productivity" report:

    How battery storage can help charge the electric-vehicle market


    (The McKinsey article includes a brief video animation which explains some of the problems of providing "fast charging" stations.)

    Some of the information will be familiar, but there's also a lot of good discussion of the things which some companies are doing in anticipation of the future of EVs. If you're interested in the topic(s), both make for good reading.
