Very odd happening. Prius would not shift into gear.

    OMG! Poor Arizona Charlie has been stuck in park in this driveway for six and a half years. I hope this new advice helps him get out of there soon. :p

    It wasn't the boost, it was the fact that the battery *needed* a boost. It was weak then and it's weaker now. You can easily test it yourself:

    The hi voltage battery has orange plug , need to push in and DOWN, then no more problems for me
