Virus in Yahoo e-mail

    Here's a link to the story about the virus. Please note that this is not an attachment-based virus...all you have to do is just open the e-mail and it infects you.

    Crap! It hit me yesterday!!! I thought it was an e-mail from my friend, and new right away something was up! grr

    Easy, there, no need to panic. This is a very short uninformed article. And believe it or not, the worm isn't the first of it's kind; just the first of its kind found in the wild. Here's the SANS ISC writeup on the threat:

    See also the F-Secure blog entry. Short answer: disable JavaScript (you haven't already?!). If you use Firefox (you aren't already?!), the NoScript add-on works quite nicely for this purpose.
