Voice recognition for making calls to contacts is the absolute worst!!

    I have the same voice recognition problem using navigation.

    I can "go home" on my system, but not "go to" any other destination, such as "go to "x" restaurant." My portable Garmin would do that, but not the voice system in the Prius.

    Agreed! The quality of Prius voice recognition is below the current industry standard, so it's probably better to adapt to use your smartphone's features instead.

    Microsofts "Cortana" app works extremely well also. It's what I utilize. All you have to do is push the talk button on your steering wheel and say "Call Cortana" It's the same app you find on any Windows 10 device.

    I also like the fact that Cortana will tie in with my tunes stored on my laptop or in the cloud. I'm sure Siri and Hey Google do that too?
