The voice recognition is built into the Prius software, right?

    It doesn't require connectivity?

(Just double checking. I was tire-kicking a Tesla and learned that their voice recognition uses Google Voice. So it doesn't work if there's no 3G connection, which is free now on Tesla but will become a paid subscription shortly.)

Please speak a little bit louder.
Or chose from one of these options:
    - turn off Prius software
    - turn off POI icons
    - turn off at the next exit

it is, and it's incredibly slow and of poor quality.
but yes, no need for a data connection! lol
