Volt does not recharge its batteries while driving...

    The thread title says "Volt does not recharge its batteries while driving." Note the present tense of the statement. But the Volt does not exist. Apparently they showed a mule car with a low-power electric motor and a small battery and a Volt name plate on it, but if that was the Volt even a die-hard EV enthusiast would not buy it, and certainly not at $40,000.

    Bottom line is, the Volt does not do anything, because the Volt still does not exist. Discussion about what the Volt does are as futile as discussions about whether the Millennium Falcon or Serenity is the better space ship. The Volt is fantasy, just like the two space ships, and as such you can make up whatever performance descriptions you like.

    (FWIW I'd take the starship Heart of Gold over either of the two above. There's nothing wrong with fantasy. But when you begin confusing fantasy with reality you've got problems.)
