Is it me, or are the door switches not lit when the door is opened, but the car is off? Always have a tough time finding the unlock button on it after getting the driver's door open via keyless.
You know, I may have to do that. I've always been against it for women, for the elderly and such (security concerns), but it just about isn't needed for me. I was trying to reduce the work all the locks had to do since there seem to be a lot of reports of having to change out lock servo motors on Priusii by long-term owners.
I do it because I am in the habit of opening the back door and putting thins on the seat. Since I only have 1 door SKS it makes it easier to open the hatch. All doors need to be unlocked for the hatch to open.
This worked for me, but only after I tried a different mouse. It was clear the wireless mouse was the problem because the sound behaved fine once the receiver was unplugged. Other web sites suggested driver problems, but this one is simple to check.

Yeah I notice this too. Can't recall if I was dropping off or picking up, but do remember someone struggling with a locked door, at night, and when I look down at the driver's door armrest it's pretty much completely dark. I think there's one minuscule point of light, maybe in the unlock button. (Hang on, I'm thinking 3rd gen. Maybe 4th Gen continues this?)
