    Hello,

I just a bought a 2008 prius with 166k miles and the previous owner told me he just recently got the brake pads replace and now the vsc, abs, (!) and brake are on.

I tried the pin and pump the brake eight times but it still comes back after I remove out the pin.

My scanner tool doesn't anything related to the vsc abs (!) or brake light.

    Please help thank you!

    Welcome to PriusChat!!

When retrieving OBD2 codes (DTCs) many prefer using a "mini-vci" cable ($20) and a copy of techstream on a windows device, which is the same software used by the dealership technicians. Others might use an OBD2 bluetooth adapter and an App like Dr Prius or Torque.

Please post the OBD2 codes (DTCs) here for additional guidance.
