VSS wire location

I have a 2013 Prius C Three that came with Entune. I bought it brand spanking new. Where is the VSS wire located? Can someone send me a picture? I recently had Cartoys replace the stock Entune radio with a Pioneer AVIC-150Bh radio but it appears they either didn't connect the speed sensor wire or connected the wrong one. The Pioneer radio gave me an error message saying "Speed Pulse wire not connected, entering hybrid mode". The 3D calibration settings page on the Pioneer radio says it's in Simple Hybrid mode which means it's exclusively relying on the GPS signal to determine if the car is in motion or not. This settings page should say 3D Hybrid mode if the VSS wire is properly connected. Right now the GPS antenna is inside the vehicle and it can't get a good enough signal to determine when the car is in motion. I'm going to have Cartoys mount the GPS antenna on the roof but I still want that speed sensor wire connected. If anyone can show me where the VSS wire is located it would be GREATLY appreciated.

Second question. How do I get the steering wheel controls to work properly with the Pioneer radio? I had Cartoys install a Pac-Audio SWI-RC steering wheel control adapter. For some reason the volume up steering wheel button changes channels on the radio and the channel down button turns the volume down. The channel up button randomly cycles through four different screens on the radio. This might be a limitation from Pioneer, but the Cartoys installer said it was something to do with the Prius's touch tracer display that sits in between the connection from the steering wheel controls to the radio. Anyone have any thoughts about getting the steering wheel controls to work properly?

I have no idea, but my 2cents is that since you paid top dollar for a professional install...You should get them to do it right and not have to rely on a forum after the fact of them taking your money for something that's not working 100%.

Anyway...what'd you do with your entrune radio? some people might be interested in taking it off your hands =D

I plan on going back there to have them fix it, but just in case I run into any problems I'd rather have this information handy. Since most newer cars have a factory head unit with navigation installed and many people in this forum have installed aftermarket head units with navigation by themselves I was hoping someone might be able to help. Every single navigation head unit currently available needs this connection to the computer's speed sensor to operate properly.

As for the Entune radio, it's mine until the new Pioneer unit is working properly.

If they find it will you see if you can get that info out of them and share it here? I'd like to be able to do a bypass of the speed lock.

The SW unit can automatically detect the controls but if it is off then you need to manually program it.

Techguy, do you by any chance have any photos of the wiring done for the SWI-RC?
