    Source: Volkswagen Begins Installing Chargers Under Electrify America Plan

    In total, eight units were installed in the Washington, D.C. area last month:
    • Pentagon City Fashion Centre in Arlington, Virginia;
    • Ashburn Village Center in Ashburn, Virginia;
    • Leesburg Corner Premium Outlets in Leesburg, Virginia;
    • Newgate Shopping Center in Centreville, Virginia;
    • Stonebridge at Potomac Town Center in Woodbridge, Virginia;
    • Dulles Town Circle in Dulles, Virginia;
    • Bowie Town Center in Bowie, Maryland;
    • St. Charles Towne Center in Waldorf, Maryland.
    By September, 50 more stations are to be available in 10 metro markets: Boston, Chicago, Denver, Houston, Miami, New York, Philadelphia, Portland (Oregon), Seattle and Washington D.C.

    Currently Volkswagen is installing dual-head (CCS Combo / CHAdeMO) units, with a 50 kW output.

    I've been to those places and everything is great until:

    Chargers are connected to the EVgo charging network, . . .

    GACK! AAAAGGGGGHHHHHH!!!

    Perhaps some of our DC area members might visit and take pictures?

    NOTE: Or I could (did) use PlugShare.com

    better locations? iduno . . . . most of the folks around the DC area and it's burbs, are driving land barges on the way to & from the capitol. Even on the 2nd round of installs ... only THEN are they going to hit one of the states w/ tons of plugins's ... namely, Washington state. imo, the 1st area of installs is a waste. here's a crazy thought .... figure out which areas have the MOST plugin's and start there. There i go thinkin' again.

    those sound like good locations to me. as far as charging (money), it all depends on how much.

    out here? EVgo - compared to the Blink system? they're a delight .... because they at least have a 50/50 chance of working. Blink ? Not so much.

    I expect the VW chargers to say they provided 10 kwh of electricity even though they only delivered 5 kwh.
    But when you put it into test mode and connect a watt meter it will read exactly correct.
