I'm not sure what would possess someone to shop at Walmart in the first place. You'd think anyone with both a conscience and an internet connection would have learned not to support their corporate behaviour.

    About 19 bucks for a box of 50 40 S&W rounds. 9mm 50 rounds about 12 bucks. Keeps my pistols happy :)

22 short for $3.87 which gives my son lots of fun at the range shooting my old 1950's Stevens 22 bolt rifle.

    I didn't mean the price. ;)

Not to turn this into a WalMart versus Costco discussion, but I was thinking of costs like having to provide social assistance to WalMart employees who don't get paid enough to live on.

Oh, I don't know any employees. We just shop there as their prices are so low so we can buy more things that way. The stores in Minnesota charge 5 bucks deposit on battery's and take all of them in when it comes time to buy a new one.

    Mike :)

Correction, you go to Walmart really, really early on "ammo stocking day" in hopes they have the ammo you need. :p

    OP here...

Seems the asst. Mgr tried to call me at work at 8:19pm in response to the email I sent to corporate last week.
I leave work at 4:30pm, I'll try to call him back ref the NYS law on battery core returns.

Thanks for the links and info guys!

I'll report back on the conversation once I touch base w/the local Walmart where the incident occurred.

As a reminder- the CSR did relent and eventually took my NAPA battery core back- but not after giving us a hard time first.
