There is air in the system now.

    An exercise in futility.

Bleeding is the issue now, as there is likely air still in the system. Once air is removed, then you can move onto problem #2: right rear wheel not stopping when applying the brakes.

Get Techstream. Flush all four lines. Hook up a AGM compatible 12V battery charger and connect it to the 12V battery when doing the brake flush; otherwise, you'll get a low voltage error DTC. You will be surprised how much you have to discharge on the rear to get the air out.

FYI, there is A LOT of brake fluid to discharge.

may be a good idea after 100k miles/10 years. completely cleaning out the whole system is near impossible with standard brake flush equipment (mainly because the prius has almost 1 gal of brake fluid in it!)

Yes, I have to deal with the air in the lines. However, I need to figure out why the RR wheel isn't braking also.

    Thoughts on that?

If the system opened SLARR once to send fluid toward the right rear, and didn't see the the RR pressure rise as fast as it should have, it may have locked out SLARR to avoid pumping all of your fluid out a possible leak. The reason for the pressure not rising may have only been an air bubble and not an actual leak, but the car doesn't know that. What diagnostic codes do you have?

Address air that was introduceds first, as you introduced air when you took the adjuster apart and rep, aced it, and eventually replaced the rear brake cylinder.

The initial leak may have been the cause of your problem. The prius may have sensedmthe pressure difference, and cut-off the leaking rear cylinder tompreserve brake fluid. Lack of codes and sub codes leaves us guessing.

My guess is: once air is removed from the line(s), and all DRC cleared, the brakes will return to normal. Be sure the rear shoes are adjusted properly too.
