Re: Washing the car, to much?

I feel your pain - I've owned my new Prius for three weeks and just hit 1500 miles.

Excessive washing of a car is a waste of natural resources. Keep it clean, thats fine - become obsessive and waste water, you shouldn't even own a Prius.

I like to keep the interior clean and dust free, but thats quick work.

if you will note, I have a bucket in the back of my Prii. it is a wash bucket with lid. Inside is all manner of good zaino stuff including wash soap. I wash my Prii every time I have a chance!

The bottom line is that there are no shortcuts:

    1. Do a wash (2 bucket method) with a quality automotive wash that will not strip the wax off your finish

    2. Optional = Polish/clean the finish

    3. If needed (or if you did option #2) apply a quality auto wax.
