Water Coolant Valve/ Oil Temp Sensor part of Powertrain???

    water control valve part # 16670-21010 (sorry I called it water coolant valve)
    oil temp sensor part # 89429-47010

    Invoice is packed away but I found my notes regarding part numbers Thx

    Thanks, that is very strange. I've posted images showing the part number for the engine coolant temperature sensor and also looked up the part number you cited. I am 100% sure that there is no oil temperature sensor, and don't know why that is listed on your invoice.

    In any event, it sounds like your car was mostly repaired on Toyota's dime, so hopefully once you buy some tires you'll be good for a while.

    Very strange since I had multiple dealers and even an independent hybrid specialist in CA verifying these parts back when repair occurred and they didn't question oil temp sensor. Who knows...it was a nightmare to resolve and hopefully parts will continue to work until I'm done with her. Thanks for asking.
